Building a Monument to GOD'S Faithfulness
Only months after the church was formed, God blessed us with the property where our church stands today. We began an ambitious construction expansion project in 2002, which we saw as a “monument to the faithfulness of God.” we believe this is just the beginning of his plan for us as we continue to grow and expand to serve more people.
A Beacon of Hope in Our Community
We are developing a 24,000 sq. ft. multi-functional building that will include a 7,000 sq. ft. sanctuary, offices, and classrooms. This new facility will strengthen our outreach to the local community, including collaborations with a nearby high school and support for 3,000 students in our mission field.
From the beginning
Over the past 11 years, Turning Point Baptist Church has invested approximately $400,000 in various preparatory activities, including legal fees, master plan drawings, site preparation for 5 acres, and public hearings.
No church in South Florida is undertaking such a project, but we believe it is part of God’s plan, and we are trusting in his provision and faithfulness. May the name of our God we always exult forevermore. We leave with this verse that has been on model through the years:
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.’’
